May 21–23, 2025, representatives of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the International Cooperation Centre of the SSU visited Poland to deepen cooperation in the field of security. The visit was organized thanks to the key support of the Polish Association for Security, which played a crucial role in its success.
The meeting strengthened ties between the Association, Polish security institutions, and Ukrainian special services, contributing to the development of international cooperation.
Antiterrorism Congress and Border Guard Visit
The delegation participated in the III International Antiterrorism Congress at WSB Merito University in Wrocław, where contemporary terrorist threats were discussed with experts from NATO structures.
Furthermore, the guests visited the Border Guard Training Centre in Kętrzyn, where they were welcomed by the Centre’s Commander. During the visit, they familiarized themselves with the modern training facilities, including specialized exercise rooms for drone piloting and forensic technician training.
Meeting at the University of Warmia and Mazury
The final point of the program was a meeting with the Vice-Rector at the University of Warmia and Mazury’s Olsztyn campus. This courtesy visit enabled representatives of Ukrainian services to learn about the Polish higher education system.
This visit highlights the growing importance of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in security and the crucial role of the Polish Association for Security in building bridges of international cooperation.
