NATO DEEP workshops, are held in Olsztyn on November 5-10, addressed to the representatives of the uniformed services of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representing key entities in the education system of the Ministry of Defense (Doctrine and Training Center) and the Ministry of Security (Police Academy) of this country. A representative of NATO Headquarters from Sarajevo is present. The training staff is international – from Germany and Poland. The essence of the workshops is to acquire the ability to independently create interactive e-learning materials. The main tool is the NATO DEEP Portal platform, where teaching resources are collected. Participants will acquire competences in the use of applications such as Articulate 360, the ILIAS and BigBlueButton platforms and VR/AR systems. Polish Association for Security supports NATO DEEP eAcademy with its potential. Similar projects were carried out in Olsztyn in the past, including: for Iraq. It means that the Association’s activity goes not only beyond the region, but also, consistently, beyond the borders of Poland.
During their stay in our country, workshop participants will meet with the authorities of the Polish Association for Security, the vice-rector of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, the mayor of Ełk and the director of the UWM Elk Campus Branch.
