The academic dimension of the NATO DEEP GEO event – in Elk

On January 29, 2024, the delegation of the National Defense University of Georgia in Gori was hosted by the UWM Branch in Ełk. The delegation included: (1) the NDA Deputy Rector – Col. David Razmadze, (2) director of the NDA Distance Learning Center – Lt. Col. Giorgi Skhirtladze, (3) commander of the NDA junior officer education component – Lt. Col. Lasha Klimiashvili (4) a commander of the NDA training battalion – Maj. Manuchar Dvalishvili. The group was accompanied by the Executive Director of the Polish Association for Security Jaroslaw Tokarczyk. The activities involved the meeting with the Deputy Mayor of the Ełk city, the Director of the Elk Branch Campus and the tour of the campus. The culminating point was the lecture “NATO DEEP Georgia. E-learning Capacity Building Context” delivered by Col. David Razmadze, which gathered the student community. The introduction to the lecture was given by Assoc.Prof. Piotr Gawliczek, PhD – NATO DEEP eAcademy Director. The lecture was conducted in English, and was organized as part of the cooperation between the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, the Polish Security Association and NATO DEEP eAcademy. Students from the Marabut Scientific Club of Internal Security and the Administrative Science Club were also involved in organizing the lecture.
