Another edition of the Copernicus Forum is complete! On March 5, 2025, the third edition took place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Białystok, featuring Paul Thurkettle as the keynote speaker. He delivered a lecture titled “NATO Agenda 2030—how to Engage Civil Society, Young People, Parliamentarians, and the Private Sector to Help Shape the Alliance.”
During his time at NATO, Paul Thurkettle worked on educational and training technologies, as well as e-learning in a broad sense. In his lecture, he shared his perspective on the current state of the Alliance and Poland’s significance since joining NATO. Additionally, students had the opportunity to learn how they can seek employment within NATO structures as civilians.
Copernicus Forum is a nationwide initiative carried out by the Polish Association for Security in collaboration with NATO DEEP eAcademy. Its goal is to create a platform where practitioners, experts, and students can exchange ideas and explore innovative solutions in the fields of online education and security.
