The 2nd edition of the “Resilience Congress” took place on March 13, 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Warsaw. The event was attended by experts, local government officials, representatives of the administration, business, uniformed services and academics, who debated how the population protection and civil defense system in Poland should look like. During 9 panels, topics related to, among others, communication, critical infrastructure security, protective construction and food security were discussed. The role and importance of education in the whole process of building state resilience was also emphasized. This was the reason for the presence of the Polish Security Association at this event, represented by its Director General Jarosław Tokarczyk. The guests of the conference included, among others: Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration Wiesław Leśniakiewicz, Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau Lieutenant General Dariusz Łukowski, Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terechow, President of the Volunteer Firefighting Association of the Republic of Poland Waldemar Pawlak and retired Lieutenant General Waldemar Skrzypczak.
