Polish Association for Security Establishes Strategic Partnership with War Studies University

The Polish Association for Security (PAS) has officially established long-term cooperation with the War Studies University. A five-year partnership agreement was signed by representatives of both institutions – on behalf of the Association, Executive Director Jarosław Tokarczyk, while the War Studies University was represented by the Dean of the National Security Faculty, Colonel Dr. Hab. Eng. Andrzej Soboń.

Formalization of Institutional Relations

The agreement signing ceremony took place at the War Studies University in the presence of faculty and students. The event, organized by the Faculty of National Security acting on behalf of the University Rector, confirmed the multifaceted cooperation between both institutions. The signing of the agreement formalizes several years of collaboration between PAS and the War Studies University.

The agreed partnership framework encompasses joint undertakings in four key areas: education, specialist training, organizational activities, and international initiatives.

Strengthening Competencies in the Defense Sector

Establishing a formal partnership with the War Studies University aligns with PAS’s strategy of deepening relations with academic communities and institutions responsible for training national security personnel. The Association has been engaged for years in educational projects implemented in cooperation with foreign partners, including NATO DEEP eAcademy, providing experience in organizing international training programs.

The signed agreement will enable the exchange of expert knowledge, joint implementation of research projects, and participation in initiatives raising standards of education in the field of security and defense.

Prospects for Cooperation Development

The five-year timeframe of the agreement creates conditions for building lasting cooperation mechanisms between PAS and the War Studies University. The formal partnership provides a foundation for implementing joint educational initiatives that respond to current needs of the security sector and challenges facing the Polish defense system.

Cooperation with the University opens new opportunities for the Association in terms of knowledge transfer between the academic environment and national security practice, while simultaneously strengthening PAS’s position as an active participant in the Polish ecosystem of institutions working for defense.
