The Polish Association for Security (PAS) participated in the ceremonial inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Rybnik branch of the Silesian University of Technology. A representative of the Association attended the event.
Inaugural Ceremony
The event, which took place on October 9, 2025, brought together students, lecturers, and invited guests. The logistics program, currently enrolling 28 students, is developing systematically – this marks the third academic year since the resumption of the Silesian University of Technology’s educational activities in the city.
Development of the Rybnik Branch
According to information from the management, the branch is experiencing steady growth in interest in its educational offerings. The number of candidates is increasing systematically, and the atmosphere at the center attracts students even from the university’s main campus in Gliwice. The launch of a dedicated Student Services Office in the 2025/2026 academic year represents a response to the growing needs of the academic community.
Cooperation with the Academic Community
The participation of a PAS representative in the inaugural ceremony confirms the Association’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives and building relationships with the academic community of the Silesian Voivodeship. The Association’s presence at such events aligns with its strategy of cooperation with higher education institutions that train future professionals in areas critical to security and economic development.
