Experts from the Centre for Social and Economic Risk Research at Collegium Civitas – experienced trainers, instructors with many years of military experience, Mr Marek Pilewski and Mr Grzegorz Cieślak – conducted an integrated training for members of our association. It covered issues related to responding to terrorist incidents, the basics of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) and preparatory actions in the event of an armed conflict and large-scale crisis.
The training began with a professional analysis of the geopolitical situation in the context of the armed conflict in Ukraine and its potential consequences for Poland and its citizens. A discussion of past humanitarian operations provided an introduction to the needs, methodology and technical aspects of preparations, including the nature of inviolable supplies, the completion of evacuation and escape backpacks and individual and team paramedic equipment. The workshop concluded with a joint unpacking of a recommended evacuation kit for military operations. At the end, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions on the practical application of the different equipment groups, which allowed the knowledge provided to be consolidated.
